Fluoride treatments aren’t just for kids! While we do recommend that children have a fluoride treatment at every visit, we find that it can be beneficial for adults as well. Fluoride treatments can help prevent tooth decay – even adult root caries – by making the tooth more resistant to acid attacks from plaque bacteria and sugars in the mouth.
